Gym Opening Update - 3/3/21

We are VERY EXCITED to welcome you all back to group training programs again beginning this Friday March 5th! There will be NO Private CLASSES on Friday and Saturday because we return to our Fall schedule. For example, if your child attended a class on Friday at 5 pm please come for a class on Friday at 5 pm.

Please read carefully the following COVID-19 protocol in order to keep our families and gym space as safe as possible and don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns:

Under the new Manitoba Gymnastics Protocol THE VIEW AREA WILL BE CLOSED for guardians.

1. Manitoba Gymnastics Association has required every participant (or guardian) sign off a new Facility Declaration form. More information related to this form will be sent to our students via email.

2. Participants and guardians of participants must go through self-screening assessment prior to arriving. Anyone feeling unwell must NOT enter the facility.

3. Everyone is requested to wash and sanitize their hands upon entrance and prior to exiting. Hand sanitizing stations are located at the entrance, on the mezzanine level and in the gym area.

4. Participants and guardians must maintain physical distancing.

5. The gym and all major traffic areas including entrance ways, washrooms and mezzanine areas are daily cleaned and disinfected. All areas disinfected daily with ULV Fogger with Anolyte (non-hazardous electrolyzed antimicrobial which kills 99.99% of viruses and bacteria, 100x more effective than cleaning with bleach).

6. Water fountain is closed for use, each participant must bring their own water bottle.

7. Masks are required for adults in all areas of the facility.

8. Masks are required for participants (over age 5) in the facility, except where safety on apparatus is compromised upon coach discretion.

Thank you for your cooperation and support!

Gym Reopening Update - 2/10/21

Due to the latest updates, it was announced that gymnastics clubs can reopen at 25% capacity for individual training only; the orders will take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 12 and will last for three weeks:

We have received the following clarification from Sport Manitoba what individual training means at this time:

Clubs may reopen to a maximum of 25% of the capacity of gym area however it is only permitted for one on one coach-athlete training, no group training. You can have multiple coaches and athletes in the gym at the same time however they cannot train with each other, you must have one coach for each athlete.

This means that DGA can offer One on One Private lessons ONLY starting Saturday, February 13th!

Therefore, classes will be running by appointment only.

We want to assure you that, at DGA, we take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of Covid19. We will continue all routine deep cleaning procedures, and we added more hand sanitizers and wipe stations. We're dedicated to protect against coronavirus, while remaining a place that our community feel welcome and safe.

We miss you and really want to see all of you back!
